Truth is in favor of you and me; for the truth of our enemies whom we have been serving here in the U.S.A. for over 400 years (whom we did not know to be our enemies by nature) is the truth that the Black Man must have knowledge of to be able to keep from falling into the deceiving traps that are being laid by our enemies to catch us in their way which is opposed to the way of righteous of whom we are members. ~ The Honorable Elijah Muhammad

Safeguard your children: Study: Violent Video Games Lead To Aggression

The findings were released by the American Psychological Association.

It set up a taskforce that reviewed hundreds of studies and papers published between 2005 and 2013.

The American Psychological Association concluded while there was "no single risk factor" to blame for aggression, violent video games did
contribute.

"The research demonstrates a consistent relation
between violent video game use and increases in aggressive behaviour, aggressive cognitions and aggressive affect, and decreases in pro-social
behaviour, empathy and sensitivity to aggression," said the report.

"It is the accumulation of risk factors that tends to lead to aggressive or violent behaviour. The research reviewed here demonstrates that violent video game use is one such risk factor."  - BBC News

Psychologists have confirmed that playing violent video games is linked to aggressive and callous behaviour. A review of almost a decade of studies found that exposure to violent video games was a "risk factor" for increased aggression.

But the same team of experts said there was insufficient evidence to conclude that the influence of games such as Call Of Duty and Grand Theft Auto led to criminal acts.

The findings have prompted a call for more parental control over violent scenes in video games from the American Psychological Association (APA).
Study: Violent Video Games Lead To Aggression
A comprehensive study of studies claims to have found definitive evidence that playing violent video games leads to aggression. The report from the American Psychological Association (APA) reviewed more than 300 violent video game papers published between 2005 and 2013.

Players were tested in a variety of ways over a variety of time periods from the short term to the longer term - and researchers concluded that violent video game use has an effect on aggression.

"The research demonstrates a consistent relation between violent video game use and
increases in aggressive behaviour, aggressive cognitions and aggressive affect, and decreases in pro-social behaviour, empathy and sensitivity to aggression," the report concludes.
