Truth is in favor of you and me; for the truth of our enemies whom we have been serving here in the U.S.A. for over 400 years (whom we did not know to be our enemies by nature) is the truth that the Black Man must have knowledge of to be able to keep from falling into the deceiving traps that are being laid by our enemies to catch us in their way which is opposed to the way of righteous of whom we are members. ~ The Honorable Elijah Muhammad

Fiery Serpents: Protecting ‘Our’ Children in the Wake of the Michael Dunn Verdict

What if Davis had been the only one in the car? Would Dunn have walked free, or simply been charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle? Despite the fact that Davis’ parents may rest assured Dunn will probably spend the rest of his life behind bars, he will not be legally held accountable for their son’s death.

The verdict has sparked deep soul searching, particularly among black commentators in the media, many of whom are questioning how black parents can keep their children safe. Mary C. Curtis, writing for The Washington Post, mulled, “My husband and I have been thinking of little else since the verdict was announced, and wondering what parents can do, besides avoid Florida.”   - Truthdig

Numbers 21:5-7 (KJV)

And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

“The bible puts it like this: Those who refused to listen to Moses and Aaron—that’s Elijah Muhammad  and Louis Farrakhan—they were bitten by fiery serpents. Fiery serpents only mean
angry White folk who are sick and tired of you and me lulling around like a bunch of lazy beggars, beating people in the head, robbing and stealing when you could be building and producing and earning the respect of the civilized world,” “Wake up, Black man, or die in your sleep!” ~ The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan
