With just $0.05 a day, this Blueprint will make us strong, firm warriors in the battle to end poverty-->

Truth is in favor of you and me; for the truth of our enemies whom we have been serving here in the U.S.A. for over 400 years (whom we did not know to be our enemies by nature) is the truth that the Black Man must have knowledge of to be able to keep from falling into the deceiving traps that are being laid by our enemies to catch us in their way which is opposed to the way of righteous of whom we are members. ~ The Honorable Elijah Muhammad

Let’s Move! initiative: Michelle Obama launches hip-hop album to promote healthy habits among children

New album inspired by Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative
The Partnership for a Healthier America and Hip Hop Public Health are releasing a 19-track multi-genre album next month called “Songs for a Healthier America,” to promote healthy habits among children. The album, inspired by the Let’s Move! initiative, includes song titles like “Veggie Luv.” (See a full track list here.)
The video for the first single, “Everybody,” featuring Doug E. Fresh, Dr. Oz, Ryan Beatty and the Hip Hop MD was released in June. Previously recorded footage of Michelle Obama speaking about childhood obesity and fitness can be seen at the beginning of that video.
According to a report from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the first lady’s attempt to teach kids to exercise and eat healthy has resulted in lowered obesity rates for low income preschoolers in about 19 states between 2008 and 2011.
