Truth is in favor of you and me; for the truth of our enemies whom we have been serving here in the U.S.A. for over 400 years (whom we did not know to be our enemies by nature) is the truth that the Black Man must have knowledge of to be able to keep from falling into the deceiving traps that are being laid by our enemies to catch us in their way which is opposed to the way of righteous of whom we are members. ~ The Honorable Elijah Muhammad

'The Time and What Must Be Done' - God’s Presence and the Act of Separating His People from the ‘Modern Pharaoh’

What is it that God wants you to do that is absolutely right? He came out of the East to save that which was brought out of the East and made “slaves” in the West. God wants us to be set free—not to be deceived anymore with “false promises”: Not “promising” us some of your wealth to be near to you, for God wants to separate us from you, as it is written in the scriptures that He wanted to “separate” The Children of Israel from Pharaoh and his people! He wanted to separate those “in the caves” from The Condition of that “cave,” and give them Wisdom and make of them a Great People!

Well, America, you have become a “great people”: Your wisdom has brought you to conquer Earth, water, space, and even time. You have become a “great people” from a very ugly, sad existence. Now The God that brought you up is here to bring us up out of a similar condition.

Don’t look down on us in our condition, and refuse to help us. Look at your own condition and how God helped you to come up out of your condition, and know that it is not “impossible” for the Black man and woman of America and the Western Hemisphere to come out of a condition that slavery and injustice has imposed upon us.  'The Final Call...

The Question of 'Integration' vs. 'Separation'

“Integration” vs. “Separation”: Which Way Should We Go?” For some of us, the word “integration” conjures up a lot of the pictures of the “1960s” when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and so many of our Black leaders and a host of young men and women went into the streets and marched for integration of public places such as restaurants, hotels, motels, restrooms, etc.; marching and suffering for a “Voting Rights” Bill because these wonderful brothers and sisters and these well-meaning leaders of our people felt that it was time that Black people share in “The Promise” of America. That “promise” being “liberty and justice for all,” “a piece of the economic pie”; that “promise” being “full-fledge citizenship” with all of the rights and privileges of that citizenship.

On the other hand, there was the principle teacher of “separation,” the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

Separate & Equal Inside America
Black people are the only group in America trying to force themselves on others, said Min. Farrakhan.
Other ethnicities such as the Chinese, the Irish, the Greeks, the Italians, the Koreans and the Jewish people all have enclaves where they live together and provide goods and services to one another and outsiders, said the Minister.
All of these groups initially faced persecution when they arrived in America, but they built up strength and carved out their own communities and are respected, he said. You don't see them picketing and complaining about receiving justice, the Minister added.
“What have they found in America that we have never found?” Min. Farrakhan asked. “They're happy living among themselves in America. They're integrated though separated.
“They've earned respect because they've done something for themselves,” he added. “They're not begging anybody else, they have their representatives in government looking out for them! What about you?”
A Case for Separation
Separation! Independence!
Allah (God) wants to make a great nation out of us (so-called Negroes). But if we desire to remain the slave of servants for our slave-masters, it is all right with Allah. Do we love ourselves and our children? If so, why not build a future for ourselves rather than beg the same slave-masters for jobs and equal shares in whatever they have — even to equal membership in their society and families (intermarriage).
