Ramadan: Fasting strengthens discipline. The lack of discipline is not only the death of the individual; it also is the death of the family and the death of the society

By the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan

Since fasting is given to us as a prescription—and a prescription is given to us by a doctor, telling us to take a certain medicine at and for a specified time, to effect a cure for a certain illness—in this case, Almighty God Allah is The Doctor prescribing for all of humanity. And now we are speaking specifically to the Black people of America, that fasting is to be used as a cure for a sick spiritual, moral, social and physical condition.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that fasting produces discipline. How? We know that we are creatures with desires and basic human needs: Food, shelter, and love. We need to be respected in our community. We have a hunger for love, and for expressing our own being. All of these hungers, all of these needs, must be disciplined and controlled if society is to be successful.

Whenever the human being lacks discipline, the society reflects that lack of discipline in the manifestation of excesses: Excessive eating, excessive drinking, excessive sex, the lust for material things, the greed for power, the overpowering of our intelligence by anger and envy. All of these excesses break the spirit of brotherhood and destroy human society.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that the first law of the Universe is motion. After something is put into motion, the second law is order. That which is in motion must come under order. This order presupposes discipline. And when there is no discipline, there is no order—whatever motion we have will be brought to an end.

The lack of discipline, therefore, is not only the death of the individual; it also is the death of the family and the death of the society.

Thus, fasting is prescribed for us as it was prescribed for those before us that we may guard against evil.  Final Call

African-American Middle Class Eroding As Unemployment Rate Soars

The unemployment situation across America is bad, no doubt. But for African-Americans in some cities, this is not the great recession. It’s the Great Depression.

Take Charlotte, N.C., for example. It is a jewel of the “new South.” The largest financial center outside of New York City, it's the showcase for next year’s Democratic National Convention. It was a land of hope and opportunity for many blacks with a four-year college degree or higher.  - FoxNews.com

Moody's: Neither debt plan protects the nation's AAA rating

The "limited magnitude" of both debt plans put forward by congressional leaders would not put the nation's AAA credit rating back on solid footing, Moody's Investors Service announced Friday.

"Reductions of the magnitude now being proposed, if adopted, would likely lead Moody's to adopt a negative outlook on the AAA rating," the credit rating agency said in a new report. "The chances of a significant improvement in the long-term credit profile of the government coming from deficit reductions of the magnitude proposed in either plan are not high."  - The Hill's On The Money

Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars: social engineering or the automation of a society

For social control & destruction of human life, i.e., slavery and genocide.

Conspiracy theories are nothing new to history. Plots to "kill Caesar" and overthrow Rome abounded, for instance. however, it is seldom that concrete clues to such plots come to light, and are generally known.

Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars, An Introduction Programming Manual was uncovered quite by accident on July 7, 1986 when an employee of Boeing Aircraft Co. purchased a surplus IBM copier for scrap parts at a sale, and discovered inside details of a plan, hatched in the embryonic days of the "Cold War" which called for control of the masses through manipulation of industry, peoples' pastimes, education and political leanings. It called for a quiet revolution, putting brother against brother, and diverting the public's attention from what is really going on.

Security

It is patently impossible to discuss social engineering or the automation of a society, i.e., the engineering of social automation systems (silent weapons) on a national or worldwide scale without implying extensive objectives of social control and destruction of human life, i.e., slavery and genocide.

This manual is in itself an analog declaration of intent. Such a writing must be secured from public scrutiny. Otherwise, it might be recognized as a technically formal declaration of domestic war. Furthermore, whenever any person or group of persons in a position of great power and without full knowledge and consent of the public, uses such knowledge and methodologies for economic conquest - it must be understood that a state of domestic warfare exists between said person or group of persons and the public.

The solution of today's problems requires an approach which is ruthlessly candid, with no agonizing over religious, moral or cultural values.

You have qualified for this project because of your ability to look at human society with cold objectivity, and yet analyze and discuss your observations and conclusions with others of similar intellectual capacity without the loss of discretion or humility. Such virtues are exercised in your own best interest. Do not deviate from them.

Historical Introduction

Silent weapon technology has evolved from Operations Research (O.R.), a strategic and tactical methodology developed under the Military Management in England during World War II. The original purpose of Operations Research was to study the strategic and tactical problems of air and land defense with the objective of effective use of limited military resources against foreign enemies (i.e., logistics).

It was soon recognized by those in positions of power that the same methods might be useful for totally controlling a society. But better tools were necessary.

Social engineering (the analysis and automation of a society) requires the correlation of great amounts of constantly changing economic information (data), so a high-speed computerized data-processing system was necessary which could race ahead of the society and predict when society would arrive for capitulation.  - The Lawful Path

Did Wells Fargo prey on black borrowers?

Staggering findings have emerged about the vast extent to which minority households were worse hit by the housing market crash than white households, as we reported Tuesday. Now The Huffington Post is reporting that the Department of Justice is preparing a lawsuit against Wells Fargo, the nation's largest home mortgage lender, for "allegedly preying upon African American borrowers during the housing bubble and steering them into high-cost sub-prime loans."  - Salon.com

African Farmers Challenge ADM for Bigger Share of U.S. Food Aid

Purchase for Progress is the signature program of Josette Sheeran, who served in the U.S. State Department under President George W. Bush before running the UN’s World Food Program, the globe’s biggest food-aid agency. When she joined the WFP in 2007, she looked for new ways to combat famine.

“What we began to ask,” says Sheeran, “is how do we purchase in a way that helps it be a solution to hunger?”

She says the WFP found the answer in what’s called P4P, which uses the agency’s buying power to integrate the world’s poorest farmers into the global food economy. The drawback is that if the model takes off, some Americans could lose their jobs, Bloomberg Businessweek reports in its Aug. 1 edition.  - Bloomberg

Veterans of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and cleanup who are stricken with cancer had their hopes dashed Tuesday -- at least temporarily -- of having their illness included among those eligible for help from the government.
Not Enough Evidence to Link 9/11 and Cancer, Report Finds - NYTimes.com
There is not enough evidence yet to say whether the dust and smoke cloud produced by the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center caused cancer, federal officials concluded in a report released on Tuesday.
9/11 Cancer Study Pits Scientists Against First Responders - Politics - The Atlantic Wire
A controversial decision by the World Trade Center Health Program to not cover the cancer treatment of 9/11 first responders has triggered an emotional conflict between the responders and the scientists behind a recent scientific review. On Tuesday, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health published a review finding there is "very little" evidencing linking cancer and the release of toxins in the air when the World Trade Center collapsed, which led to the fund's decision to withhold compensation. As a result, first responders and their supporters are clashing with the review process. Here's who's speaking out:

Despite a new federal review that supports keeping cancer off the official list of 9/11-related health problems, the door remains open for it and other illnesses to be added after further study. FDNY medical officer Dr. David Prezant addressed the issue at Firehouse Expo in Baltimore last week.

Norway Attacks Reveal Growing Violent, Anti-Muslim Sentiment in Europe

Anders Behring Breivik, who has admitted to the mass shooting and bombing in Norway, has been described as an anti-Islamic, right-wing extremist who claimed to be acting in order to save Norway and Europe from "Marxist and Muslim colonization." To discuss the prevalence and legitimacy of these views, we speak with Kari Helene Partapuoli, the director of the Norwegian Center Against Racism. She says Breivik’s ideology was shaped in part by the Norwegian Defence League and the group Stop the Islamisation of Norway. “He didn’t just go on a shooting spree. What constitutes a humanitarian crisis? Gaza: Stay human? Just Staying Alive Is Hard Enough

Only a week ago, Israel’s Defense Minister Ehud Barak insisted that there is not a humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

“The facts and figures are clear and visible,” he said.(1)

That is very true – the facts and figures ARE clear and visible – but they indicate the complete opposite.

Let’s begin by defining what constitutes a humanitarian crisis. Most international organisations and governments would accept the term to signify “a serious disruption of the functioning of society, whether developing suddenly or as the result of long-term processes, which poses a significant, widespread threat to human life, health, property or the environment,” a composite definition drawn from various humanitarian manuals and documents. A Word From Afar: Is NATO No More?

NATO was, in its day, the prime example of a collective security alliance. Ideologically united in its anti-Communism and rooted in capitalist economics, Western Europe and North America militarily grounded their alliance in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. Its purpose was to deter Soviet aggression with credible counter-force, and its strategic preparations were for a major regional war in Europe. Although NATO members undertook combat missions outside of the continent, the common focus was on its Eastern Front, centred along the Berlin Wall and Central European Plain. The end of the Cold War changed the threat environment in which NATO’s purpose and preparations were made, and the immediate response was to shift its strategic focus towards peace-keeping, low-intensity conflict (including counter-terrorism), cyberwarfare and activities other than war (such as humanitarian relief and search and rescue).  | Scoop News

Why the Christian Right Becomes More Extreme As America Grows More Tolerant

Adding to this religious style of politics has been a deep sense of victimhood among right-wing Evangelicals, as if Christians were some persecuted minority in the United States, threatened by all-powerful Muslims imposing Sharia law or secular humanists banning Christmas.

Repeated endlessly on right-wing talk radio, these paranoid messages have become real to millions of these religiously inspired voters. So, political adversaries must not only be bested, but crushed. After all, they represent strategies of the anti-Christ.

What happens next with this religious/political phenomenon could dramatically influence the future direction of the United States, a nation founded on principles of religious tolerance and respect for free debate and political diversity.  | AlterNet

U.S. Appeals Court: OK to check DNA of those arrested

In an 8-6 ruling, the circuit judges found that people who are arrested have "a diminished expectation of privacy in their identities." The majority opinion, by Judge Julio M. Fuentes, said that DNA matching "promptly clears thousands of potential suspects."  Read more...

The Federal Reserve ADMITS that Its 12 Banks Are PRIVATE – Not Government – Entities

...the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) – often called the “central banks’ central bank”, as it coordinates transactions between central banks, and which is the entity determining the level of reserves banks are required to keep worldwide – is itself owned by the central banks of the world.

As Spiegel reported in 2009:
The BIS is a closed organization owned by the 55 central banks. The heads of these central banks travel to the Basel headquarters once every two months, and the General Meeting, the BIS’s supreme executive body, takes place once a year.
In, other words, the private banks own the Fed (and mos other central banks), and the central banks – in turn – own BIS, the global bank regulator.   Activist Post

The number of homeless Iraq and Afghanistan veterans is exploding in the United States.

In 2006 there were around 1300 homeless vets who served in Iraq or Afghanistan. That number has doubled three times in about six years. Of the nearly 10-thousand five hundred currently homeless, about 13% are women.

The Veterans Administration blames the rise on a number of factors including a poor economy but also on the nature of the current wars, where many soldiers serve multiple deployments and suffer psychologically from what they have seen and experienced.

Steve Berg of the National Alliance to End Homelessness says soldiers experiencing post tramatic stress or suffering from brain injuries are quite challenged in many areas coming home from war.

Debt ceiling FAQs: What you need to know

What is the debt ceiling exactly? It's a cap set by Congress on the amount of debt the federal government can legally borrow. The cap applies to debt owed to the public (i.e., anyone who buys U.S. bonds) plus debt owed to federal government trust funds such as those for Social Security and Medicare.

The first limit was set in 1917 and set at $11.5 billion, according to the Center for a Responsible Federal Budget. Previously, Congress had to sign off every time the federal government issued debt. (Take CNNMoney's deficit quizRead more...

Recovering US job market is leaving black men behind

For them, the Great Recession not only led to the largest increase in unemployment for any category of American worker, but it also is pinching a lot longer. About 1 in 6 black men over age 20 in the labor force is jobless – and that number has barely improved since the economic recovery officially began two years ago.
In Detroit, Las Vegas, Milwaukee, Minneapolis-St. Paul, and several other US cities, Depression-era unemployment rates above 20 percent beset the black community, estimates one economic policy group, citing government data. Moreover, the problem may get worse because city governments, which traditionally employ many African-American men, are laying off workers to cope with budget shortfalls, say experts on black employment.   - CSMonitor.com

Lawmakers Rip Gun-Tracking Effort In Mexico

The scandal is widening over a U.S. law enforcement operation that lost track of guns later discovered at crime scenes on the Southwest border. The Justice Department and Republicans in Congress are trading accusations over who approved the operation. Last year, the Justice Department's inspector general criticized the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for aiming too low in its investigations of gun trafficking along the border with Mexico. Scientists See WTC - Hutchison Effect Parallel

In early January 2008, Wood posted a new study on her website (http://drjudywood.com/articles/JJ), which relates effects seen in photographs taken before, during and after the destruction of the WTC complex, to effects seen in Hutchison’s ongoing experiments.  Wood and Hutchison co-authored the study.

John Hutchison is a Canadian inventor and experimental scientist who has been working with “field effects” for almost 30 years.  The Hutchison Effect is a collection of phenomena discovered accidentally by John Hutchison in 1979 during attempts to reproduce the work of Nikola Tesla.  Hutchison uses radio frequency and electrostatic sources.  The Hutchison Effect occurs in a volume of space where the beams intersect and interfere.  The results are levitation of heavy objects, fusion of dissimilar materials such as metal and wood, anomalous melting (without heating) of metals without burning adjacent material, spontaneous fracturing of metals (which separate by sliding in a sideways fashion), and both temporary and permanent changes in the crystalline structure and physical properties of metal samples.  | PRLog

On Sunday, residents in Tel Aviv's poorest neighborhood set up a tent city as well. The area, which includes the neighborhoods of Neve Sha'anan, Hatikva, Shapira, and Florentine are known for being the home of low income families, single parent households, and most recently, refugees and migrant workers. At 4:30 in the morning, the Ministry of the Environment removed the tents and confiscated them. Of all the tent-cities throughout Israel, this is the only one to be evicted.

Greece, capitalism's crisis and Farrakhan's warning

During a June 15 statement to the United Nations, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan connected such events to divine interference with the power of the Western world and warned a period of grace God had given to America and the West to repent was over. God's full divine chastisement is coming down now, he said.

“You may think it's ‘your move,' but the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that the God that is on the scene today is so wise, he turns men's minds to thinking and doing as he pleases,” said Min. Farrakhan.

“So the moves that you now make, that make you think you are ‘safe,' and ‘secure,' keep looking at the chess board. Soon, you will see your pieces coming off the table; your governments will soon be laying in ruin. And some of you, who have plotted against the peoples of the world, will be seen on the back of pick-up trucks driving through the streets of America, and the American people throwing stones and raw garbage at you. This is what you are facing!”  Final Call

America's Dirty War on Islam

On July 9, a Press TV US prison system racket interview highlighted the problem and urgency to address it.

America's media ignore how unjustly it harms millions of disadvantaged people. Instead, they regurgitate spurious high-profile case accusations, always when Muslims are affected. Most often they're men, occasionally women, bogusly charged with terrorism or conspiracy to commit it, when, in fact, they're guilty only of being targets of choice and/or being in America at the wrong time.  Mathaba

Federal Court Says Call for Obama’s Assassination was Freedom of Speech

Many are wondering if this issue is being taken too lightly.  On Tuesday, a federal appeals court overturned the conviction of a man who posted internet messages threatening Barack Obama during his 2008 presidential campaign.

Walter Bagdasarian was convicted in 2009 of two felony counts of threatening a major presidential candidate.  The conviction stemmed from statements that were made in 2008. Bagdasarian posted several messages to a Yahoo Finance message board, including one that called Obama a racial epithet and another that said “he will have a 50 cal in the head soon.” A reference to a .50 caliber gun.  | Your Black World

'Researchers' construct most detailed genetic map of African Americans: to spot & cure diseases or create genitic weapons?

Genome Maps May Spot Disease In African-Americans : NPR
Two independent teams of researchers have come up with the most accurate genetic maps ever made — a feat that should make the search for genes associated with diseases easier.
- "Studying African-American genetics gives unique information about African-Americans, but also it is uniquely informative to genetics of the family of man," he says. Because Africa is thought to be the place where all modern humans originally came from, it's the DNA from African people that tells the first chapter in the story of modern human genetics. -
