Pharmaceutical companies have recently paid out the largest legal settlements in U.S. history - including the largest criminal fines ever imposed on corporations - for illegally marketing antipsychotic drugs. The payouts totaled more than $5 billion. But the worst costs of the drugs are being borne by the most vulnerable patients: children and teens in psychiatric hospitals, foster care and juvenile prisons, as well as elderly people in nursing homes. They are medicated for conditions for which the drugs haven't been proven safe or effective - in some cases, with death known as a known possible outcome.

The Changing Face of the Police and the Death of the Fourth Amendment
The Fourth Amendment, which assures that "the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated," was included in the Bill of Rights in response to the oppressive way British soldiers treated American colonists through their use of "Writs of Assistance." These were court orders that authorized British agents to conduct general searches of premises for contraband. The exact nature of the materials being sought did not have to be detailed, nor did their locations. The powerful new court orders enabled government officials to inspect not only shops and warehouses, but also private homes. These searches resulted in the violation of many of the colonists’ rights and the destruction of much of the colonists’ personal property. It quickly became apparent to many colonists that their homes were no longer their castles. Read more...

Parts of moon interior contains as much water as Earth's upper mantle
The discovery, published in the May 26 Science Express, challenges assumptions of how the moon formed and the origin of frozen water at the lunar poles. Read more...
Words of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad from a 1960's lecture:
"And we have also a history of the star which is placed in our flag of the universe, some sixty-six trillions years ago. And we also have a knowledge of the deportation of our planet and the moon which took place sixty-six trillion years ago by one of our own scientists, which taken high explosives...they are trying to find that same explosive today to destroy the planet...he'd taken high explosives drilled a tube into our moon, which it was called moon, and a lot of our ancient people today refer to the earth as moon, it is moon. And filled that tube full of high explosives, set it off and it split our planet in two.
That part that you see up there tonight, that we call moon, it was blasted away from the original bed or pocket that we were in some 12,000 miles and it turned over, dropped all the water of that part on this part. That's why this part, today, it's surface is 3/4 covered under water because we have that water that once was on the moon.
I don't think this is a good thing to be teaching to you, but I want to get to your history, gradually.
Now, a Black Scientist did that sixty-six trillion years ago. He was smart enough to try to destroy us by drilling a tube into our earth's, as we call it today, surface about 4,000 ...miles. He split the planet and this part dropped 36,000 miles from the original pocket and found a pocket and it started rotating. And we are the lucky people who were on this part that we didn't get destroyed with those who were once on the moon. The moon is part of our earth. The astronomers, today, they have learned that and they believe it. And God Almighty has revealed the secret to me and not only the secret of the moon and the earth to me, but has also given to me the secret knowledge of more planets, other than the earth, even to Mars, the civilization on it and they have the language of the people on Mars and they can speak to these people, they can question them. They can make them react to our wicked. But they can not make us react to their will. Read more...

The legal license President Obama used to justify U.S. military intervention in Libya expired May 20th, it is now an Illegal War
"The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation" -- candidate Barack Obama, December, 2007Illegal war? Congress doesn't care | Gene Healy | Columnists | Washington Examiner
On Friday the 60-day clock ran out, leaving Obama in clear violation of the War Powers Resolution, passed in 1973 to "fulfill the intent of the framers of the Constitution ... [and] insure that the collective judgment of both the Congress and the President will apply to the introduction of United States Armed Forces into hostilities."It's a Simple Fact: Obama Is Now Waging an Illegal War | World | AlterNet
Regardless of whether one loves or loathes the president, or how one views his intervention in Libya, it is simply a conclusive fact that Barack Obama is now pursuing an illegal conflict. And a timid congress, so inured to our nation's permanent state of war, isn't calling him on its illegality.Obama’s Folly: The Illegal War in Libya | US Opinion and Editorial Right Side News
For the life of me, I cannot figure out how we missed that little shortcoming of US law. But apparently, we did. And, as a result, Obama just goes ahead and acts as a king would do and issues “commands,” “decrees,” and “edicts.” What’s worse – the Mainstream Media, which lays claim to “watchdog” status for the people, will not call him on it. They just look the other way, totally disregarding illegal and/or unconstitutional actions of the Obama Administration.

Congress must re-think 'pro-Israel'
Why? Because peace for Israel requires Palestinian national unity. Congress should welcome unity efforts, not seek to undermine them. For years the U.S. government has made the mistake of opposing Palestinian reconciliation rather than encouraging it. It would be reckless and irresponsible for Congress to compound this mistake. - The Hill's Congress Blog

Learned Helplessness Theory - The Frozen Mental State of the So-Called Negro
Learned helplessness, as a technical term in animal psychology and related human psychology, means a condition of a human person or an animal in which it has learned to behave helplessly, even when the opportunity is restored for it to help itself by avoiding an unpleasant or harmful circumstance to which it has been subjected. Learned helplessness theory is the view that clinical depression and related mental illnesses may result from a perceived absence of control over the outcome of a situation. - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaAlso find definition of LHT at:
Also read the definition of Battered (Wife) Person Syndrome:
The syndrome develops in response to a three stage cycle found in domestic violence situations. First, tension builds in the relationship. Second, the abusive partner releases tension via violence whilst blaming the victim for having caused the violence. Third, the violent partner makes gestures of contrition. However, the partner does not find solutions to avoid another phase of tension building and release so the cycle repeats. The repetition of the violence despite the abusers attempts to "make nice" results in the abused partner feeling at fault for not preventing a repeat cycle of violence. However since she is not at fault and the violence is internally driven by the abuser's need to control, this self-blame results in feelings of helplessness rather than empowerment. The feeling of being both responsible for and helpless to stop the violence leads in turn to depression and passivity. This learned depression and passivity make it difficult for the abused partner to marshall the resources and support system needed to leave.[7]
