Farrakhan: Blacks are True Children of Israel
“The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that Almighty God Allah revealed to him that the Black people of America are the real children of Israel and we are the choice of God and that unto us, He will deliver His Promise,” said Min. Farrakhan. “This question says that somebody has usurped our position. This question says that somebody has taken the promise of God to the children of Israel and claimed it for themselves.”
Blacks in America are God's people, not those who inhabit land in Palestine, the Minister said." Read more...

Farrakhan dares scholars, leaders and governments to prove him wrong and offers his life
Eric Ture MuhammadThe Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan raised the level of accountability to heights that no leader to date has done, by calling out the architects and horrors of the trans-Atlantic slave trade to thousands of attendees at Atlanta’s Civic Center and to a radio audience of nearly 14 million listeners (13,675,000—according to early media stats announced by the Nation of Islam) via radio simulcasts and live internet feeds around the United States. His subject, “Who Are the Real Children of Israel?” introduced new findings of Jewish scholars in the newly-published work of the Nation of Islam’s Historical Research Department, “The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews, Volume 2” and an additional supplement detailing how Africans were sold by Jews through, Europe, the Caribbean, and the Americas; waxing rich through Black labor in the southern United States, building Wall Street from its coffers and established cotton as the ‘king’ of an industrial age before oil. The Coming Gulf Coast Firestorm: How the BP oil catastrophe could destroy a major U.S. city
Now, sure, the more volatile fuels might evaporate, but as they do, they'd fill the city with explosive fumes. 100,000 Americans Die Each Year from Prescription Drugs, While Pharma Companies Get Rich
Melody Petersen: The study estimating that 100,000 Americans die each year from their prescriptions looked only at deaths from known side effects. That is, those deaths didn’t happen because the doctor made a mistake and prescribed the wrong drug, or the pharmacist made a mistake in filling the prescription, or the patient accidentally took too much. Unfortunately, thousands of patients die from such mistakes too, but this study looked only at deaths where our present medical system wouldn’t fault anyone. Tens of thousands of people are dying every year from drugs they took just as the doctor directed. This shows you how dangerous medications are. Read more...

Trillion dollar dreams: What military spending could buy
By Nisa Islam Muhammad“When $1 trillion are spent on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, it is very telling of our national priorities. Those trillion dollars could pay for a year of health care for 300 million Americans, Pell grants for 188 million students, or 8 million units of affordable housing; the list goes on and on. The trade offs are especially difficult to digest given the current economic recession the country is facing,” said Jo Comerford, executive director of the National Priorities Project. Read more...

The Collapsing Western Way of Life: The greatest threat to the Western Way of Life is the Western Way of Life itself.
The Age of Enlightenment was born sometime around the beginning of the eighteenth century. A mere three-quarters of a century later, industrialization ushered in the Age of Endarkenment, and human life has grown more and more perilous ever since. The Golden Age of capitalism cannot be recreated merely by applying the right mixture of spending, subsidies, re-regulation, and international agreements. Because the economic advantages of industrialization rely on overproduction and profit, balanced trade is impossible if the advantage is to be preserved; it entails no economic profit. Industrialism is a Hegelian synthesis which embodies the forces for its own destruction. The greatest threat to the Western Way of Life is the Western Way of Life itself. Read more...

Internet 'kill switch' proposed for US

The legislation says that companies such as broadband providers, search engines or software firms that the US Government selects "shall immediately comply with any emergency measure or action developed" by the Department of Homeland Security. Anyone failing to comply would be fined.

US emboldens Israel to kill Americans
A recent Israeli attack on a convoy of ships in the Mediterranean Sea is another indication that Israel kills Americans with a sense of immunity from prosecution. Ray McGovern, a former analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), in an interview with Press TV, reviewed some other incidents in which Israel "deliberately" had killed Americans without being held accountable by Washington afterwards. We Have a Black President, But That Doesn't Resolve the Deep Racism Built into the American Psyche

But as I show in my new book, Colorblind: The Rise of Post-Racial Politics and the Retreat from Racial Equity, President Obama and other adherents to the post-racial liberal philosophy are flatly wrong. In fact, not only are they wrong about the ability of "universal" programs to reduce racial disparities in health, income or education; they are also wrong about the political value of race-neutral approaches. At the end of the day, avoiding conversations about race will not boost support for progressive social policy, and may in fact undermine it. Read more...

New Theory for Life's First Energy Source
From the tiniest bacteria to the complex human body, all living beings require an energy-transporting molecule called ATP to survive. Often likened to a 'rechargeable battery,' ATP stores chemical energy in a form that can be used by organic matter.
'You need enzymes to make ATP, and you need ATP to make enzymes,' said researcher Terence Kee of the University of Leeds in England. 'The question is: Where did energy come from before either of these two things existed? We think that the answer may lie in simple molecules, such as pyrophosphate, which is chemically very similar to ATP, but has the potential to transfer energy without enzymes.'" Read more...
