Based on a 96 page report on the causes of premature death by the CDC, the leading cause of death among young blacks of both sexes appears to be black men.
The following article and link give a scientific look at what it means to be afflicted with the disease of 'self hatred'. So afflicted, one becomes a danger to oneself and to others. This is not pleasant reading. It is sobering and even frighteningly depressing. It makes you wanna hollar and scream! But what good would that do? Read more...
Young children who consume exclusively organic dairy products are significantly less likely to develop allergies, asthma or eczema by the age of two, according to a study conducted by researchers from the Louis Bolk Institute in the Netherlands and published in the British Journal of Nutrition.
"This is the first example of a definite health impact of organic food consumption being published in a peer-reviewed journal," said Carlo Leifert of Newcastle University, who is leading a study into the connection between organic food consumption and health. Read more...
After years of speculation and rare case reports, a recent FDA-funded study by The National Institute of Mental Health claims that drugs such as Ritalin – widely used to treat Attention Deficit Disorder in children – increase the risk of sudden death by five hundred percent among children and teens.
“Drugs are not the answer,” said Etta Brown, a licensed educational psychologist, veteran social worker and author of Learning Disabilities, Understanding the Problem and Managing the Challenges from Langdon Street Press (www.understandingld.com). “Doctors and pharmaceutical companies are quick to tell parents there is a pill that will fix their kids, but it’s a false bill of goods. In many cases, these drugs – like Ritalin – will serve only to dull their kids’ senses and create health risks the parents could never have imagined.” Read more...

There is no “war” against terrorism. What George W. Bush launched and Barack Obama insists on perpetuating does not qualify. Not if by war one means doing the obvious and checking a highly suspicious air traveler’s underwear to see if explosives have been sewn in. If Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab had put the stuff in his shoes we would have had him because that was tried before, but our government was too preoccupied with fighting unnecessary conventional wars and developing anti-missile defense systems to anticipate such a primitive delivery system. BY JIM WILSON Scientists are warned of the dark sideof genomic research.
A former official in the Clinton administration says the South African military attempted to develop biological weapons that targeted victims based on their genetic makeup.Jonathan Moreno, a biomedical ethicist at the University of Virginia (UV) in Charlottesville, revealed the project in a presentation at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), which met the week of Feb. 19, 2001 in San Francisco. AAAS is the umbrella organization for the nation’s leading scientific organizations.
"Under the old apartheid government, the South African Defense Force conducted research for the possible development of biological agents that could be used against the black population," Moreno tells POPULAR MECHANICS. "They were particularly interested in seeking ways to sterilize women of color." Read more... Related articles

Researchers may now reliably use genetics data to tell a person's ancestry -- what percent of an African-American's genome stems from Europe, for example, and what percent comes from Africa.
The technique detailed in a new study not only allows researchers to compare 300,000 common DNA landmarks in the diverse genetic heritage of humans, but also provides insights into "the personal genetic history of individuals and the journey individual segments of their genomes have taken, particularly those individuals with rich and diverse genetic heritage, such as African-Americans," said Carlos Bustamante, a Cornell population geneticist who co-led the study, which is published in the Dec. 21 issue of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. A university project found that black youths feel widely alienated – 48 percent of respondents believe the government treats most immigrants better than most black people. So researchers created a place for them on the Internet. The Black Youth Project is a website of research and blogs aimed at the group.
“We felt there needed to be a space on the Web where young black people could speak for themselves,” says Cathy Cohen, a political science professor at the University of Chicago and the lead investigator at the Black Youth Project (BYP), which has researched the attitudes, culture, politics, and resources of African-American youths since 2003. “This is a space for young black people to be politically engaged, and it’s a place for teachers to think of creative curriculum based in the lives of young black people.”
The website (www.blackyouthproject.com) came out of the work that the BYP has been engaged in, particularly a national survey it conducted several years ago. The survey, coupled with detailed interviews with individuals, offers insights into the attitudes that black youths have about everything from hip-hop and sex to politics and religion. Read more...
By TIMBERLY ROSS Native American tribes tired of waiting for the U.S. government to honor centuries-old treaties are buying back land where their ancestors lived and putting it in federal trust.
Native Americans say the purchases will help protect their culture and way of life by preserving burial grounds and areas where sacred rituals are held. They also provide land for farming, timber and other efforts to make the tribes self-sustaining. Read more...
Fifty-three! Yes, 53!This is the number of vaccines a child receives between birth and 6 years of age, if his/her parents follow the CDC's "Recommended Immunization Schedule for Persons Aged 0 through 6 Years." Unfortunately, millions of parents do.
In this paper, we analyzed this "schedule" for the benefit of parents and anyone else who is related to or knows a child under six years old. Most people know very little about this "schedule," so the information in this research paper should be an eye-opener for many. Needless to say, it should be read by everyone. Why?
"Vaccination"must be understood within today's social and political context. Vaccination (or immunization, as they call it), is intrinsic to a vast medical system that is on auto-pilot. This means that everyone involved, from the medical staff to parents, does what they are told or trained to do—no questions asked, no second thoughts, no thinking required.
If the fact that a child receives 53 vaccines—35 of which are administered before the child turns 2 years old—sounds unbelievable, it is; especially to those who are unaware of how the field of pediatrics works in this country. Can you imagine the amount of extremely toxic chemicals being injected into the tender, supple and fragile body of an infant and toddler? Few people consider this, including parents. Nevertheless, this is the reality that millions of children endure.
There is not any wonder that autism now afflicts one (1) in every 100 children. Nearly everyone knows someone with an autistic child, according to the most recent report about the epidemic of autismin America.
NOTE! This information is so important that I will give a free book to anyone who refers this paper to 25 people.
American mothers as a whole do not breast-feed their babies as much as health experts would like, but African-American moms have the lowest rates of all — by some measures, they are half as likely to nurse as whites and Hispanics.
The federal government, some hospitals and nonprofits are trying different strategies to close this nursing gap, though no one seems sure exactly why the disparity exists. Read more...

The FBI has a new set of eyes and ears, and they're being told to protect their infrastructure at any cost. They can even kill without repercussion.
Today, more than 23,000 representatives of private industry are working quietly with the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security. The members of this rapidly growing group, called InfraGard, receive secret warnings of terrorist threats before the public does -- and, at least on one occasion, before elected officials. In return, they provide information to the government, which alarms the ACLU. But there may be more to it than that. One business executive, who showed me his InfraGard card, told me they have permission to "shoot to kill" in the event of martial law. InfraGard is "a child of the FBI," says Michael Hershman, the chairman of the advisory board of the InfraGard National Members Alliance and CEO of the Fairfax Group, an international consulting firm. by Brett Michael Dykes But are these hidden messages really all that hidden? James Cameron himself hasn't been shy in publicly proclaiming the fact that he's an environmental activist who believes that humans and "industrial society" are "causing a global climate change" and "destroying species faster than we can classify them." In a recent interview with PBS' Tavis Smiley, Cameron admitted that he made "obvious" references in the film to Iraq, Vietnam and the American colonial period to emphasize the fact that humans have a "terrible history" of "entitlement" in which we "take what we need" from nature and indigenous peoples "and don't give back." Since President Barack Obama signed his stimulus package into law in February, the U.S. Department of Transportation has handed out more than $150 million in contracts to companies for street, highway and bridge construction.

"Stunning," is how TEN's media director Stephen Boykewich described his organizations' findings. Read more...
Nimrod married his mother Ester when Moses (Musa) was sent to the devils 4,000 years ago). This meant the end of the Blackman's power to keep them in their boundaries of Europe. This brought them out of the caves putting them on the road to the conquest of Asia, (Black, Brown, Red and Yellow man).
Nimrod killed his father and began sleeping with his mother, Ester, known today as the holiday called Easter.
She had children by her son Nimrod, making Nimrod his own father and son, which was the beginning of the lie that God and son are one And the same. It's true that this made Nimrod, his own father but the father and the son could never be identical. This is also where the lie originated of the "Immaculate Conception" woman giving birth without the agency of man.
Nimrod and his mother were worshipped by the people, and knowing that if they found out that she was bearing her son's children they would not respect her, she lied telling the people that the spirit was visiting her, giving her babies.
The people, being paganish, believed those lies thus establishing a holiday called Easter commemorating her birthday. They used the sign of the rabbit, which is an over-sexed animal; and eggs representing the first stage of the "embryo" chicken, which is capable of laying eggs without a male, was also used.
Nimrod would go into Asia robbing the brothers of their wealth. Using his unalike attracting power, he was able to steal and divide the brothers. The cross originated as a symbol meaning death and dividing the four brothers, so that Nimrod could rule. The cross is used in most European nations today in their flag in the same form.
Christmas being Nimrod's birthday has all the signs; the evergreen meaning everlasting life for the Caucasian; the ornaments signifies all the riches and pretty things that the Blackman has. The star on the top of the tree, meaning the devils brain as being powerful enough to keep the Blackman divided, or in the cross. Santa Claus is the symbol of Nimrod bringing gifts back to Europe from Asia. A pagan religion was adopted by the Jews in Judaism. They didn't want the Blackman's religion, Islam, nor would they accept the Yellowman's religion, Buddhism, the whiteman had to invent himself a religion that would fit his nature, for his being evil, his religion had to be flexible enough to allow him to practice his evil and worship statues, drink blood (wine), eat (body flesh), etc. Read more...
The reality show hosts fondly called her "chocolate girl" and "black pearl." The Chinese media fixated on her skin color. Netizens flooded Web sites with comments saying she "never should have been born" and telling her to "get out of China."
Lou Jing's background became fodder for national gossip, sparking a vitriolic debate about race across a country that, in many respects, can be quite homogenous. There are 56 different recognized ethnic groups in China, but more than 90 percent of the population is Han Chinese. So people who look different stand out.
"We lived in a small circle before," said her mother. "But after Lou was seen nationwide, some Chinese people couldn't accept her."
It has been a shocking ordeal for someone who says she always considered herself just like every other Chinese girl. Read more...
Jesse Ventura steps into America's most controversial conspiracy by challenging the 9/11 Commission Report and searching for evidence that the September 11th attacks may have been an inside job. At the urging of victims' families, he finds witnesses who claim the towers were brought down by explosives, the missing black box flight recorders were actually recovered and ground control knew the hijackers were in the cockpits before the jets took off. The Department of Homeland Security improperly gathered intelligence on the Nation of Islam for eight months in 2007 when the leader of the black Muslim group, Louis Farrakhan, was in poor health and appeared to be yielding power, according to government documents released Wednesday.
The intelligence gathering violated domestic spying rules because analysts took longer than 180 days to determine whether the U.S-based group or its American members posed a terrorist threat. Analysts also disseminated their report too broadly, according to documents obtained under the by the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a civil liberties group. Read more...

As budget deficits grow and the economy tumbles, governors and legislators are cutting costs by allowing inmates, mostly low-risk offenders, to leave prison earlier than laws previously permitted. Nationwide, more states are beginning to release thousands of inmates early by increasing "time off" provisions.
Last week, figures from the U.S. Department of Justice indicated that in 2008 the gr owth of the prison population was slower than in any year since 2000. Some experts say the slowdown confirms that states are reconsidering their sentencing policies. Read more…
By HOPE YEN The estimated time when whites will no longer make up the majority of Americans has been pushed back eight years — to 2050 — because the recession and stricter immigration policies have slowed the flow of foreigners into the U.S.
Census Bureau figures released Wednesday update last year's prediction that white children would become a minority in 2023 and the overall white population would follow in 2042. The earlier estimate did not take into account a drop in the number of people moving into the U.S. because of the economic crisis and the immigration policies imposed after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. Empowerment Project aims to build economic, community strength
The couple's buy Black campaign or the “Empowerment Experiment” garnered national headlines as well as some criticisms for promoting racism. But the Andersons, who live outside Chicago in suburban Oak Park, Ill., saw their experiment as a lesson in self-help economics.
The Andersons wanted to change Black Americans' mindset from just being consumers to being more conscious of how they spent their money and with whom. It wasn't too long ago that Blacks largely patronized Black businesses, said Mrs. Anderson, formerly a business consultant who now heads the Empowerment Experiment full-time. Before the fight for integration in this country, Blacks had little choice but to support their own. She said integration was a good thing, but for Blacks “integration was bad economically... because we lost that sense of duty to shop with our own.” Read more...
The Empowerment Experiment in CNN's Situation Room
The future for black children and youth is worrisome. Even during supposedly "good" economic times too many black children grow up facing severe economic disadvantage. This normally bad situation is being made considerably worse by the recession. If we do not act quickly and effectively we should expect to see significant increases in negative physical, psychological, social and economic outcomes for black children and youth over the next decades.
From 2007 to 2008, the country experienced a historic rise [PDF] in the number of households that did not have consistent and dependable access to sufficient food. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) calls these households "food insecure." The number of food insecure households increased by over 4 million nationally to reach 17.1 million. In 2008, 10.7 percent of white households were food insecure, but 25.7 percent of black households were in this condition. Although the official 2009 USDA data is not yet available, it is likely that the numbers of food insecure households increased by a large amount this year. Read more...

According, to recent statistic estimates, in the year 2025, 24,324,778 United States citizens will suffer from -blank-. Are you intrigued yet? Are you nervous? Well, what if I told you exercise and a proper nutrition can enhance your chances of never receiving this disease? Due to our sedentary lifestyle, and improper nutrition, the prevalence of Diabetes, has skyrocketed in recent years. If we as a nation, want to diminish the increasing rate, we must understand the disease.
1. Diabetes is a metabolism disorder. During consumption, our body breaks most of our food down into glucose. It just so happens, that the main source of energy and fuel is, glucose. When an individual has diabetes their body does not produce enough insulin to be able to move their glucose throughout their body. Therefore, that individual does not receive the necessary fuel and energy.
